Directorate General of Shipping invites applications for the following posts:

Job Designation: Nautical Surveyor

Number of Positions: 05 (Five)

Scale of Pay: Pay Band-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/- (Revised Pay)

Educational Qualification:
1. Certificate of Competency (Master Foreign Going) with 8 years service as Deck Officer or M.Sc. degree in Maritime Affairs or its equivalent from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification:
Extra Master’s Certificate of Competency with 6 years service as Deck Officer of which one year must have been in the capacity of Chief Officer on a foreign going ship.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of the applications.
