Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology comes under CSIR. It is popularly known as IGIB, engaged in the works of research related to bioinformatics, Proteomics and genomics. Name & No. of Posts

The total numbers of vacant seats are 8 as Project Fellow/Sr. Project Fellow and Project Assistant in the department Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB) on purely temporary basis.

Eligibility Criteria for IGIB Recruitment 2012

For the post Project Fellow (Code-1 & 3)

Candidates should have M.Sc/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in the discipline of Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Human Genetics/M.Pharma and Life Science. Age of candidates will be less than 28 years. Age relaxation to reserved community will applicable for all posts as Indian government norms.

For the post Sr. Project Fellow (Code-2)

Candidates should have M.Sc degree with minimum 60% marks and two years post M.Sc experience in the field research “Or” M.Tech in the discipline of Biotechnolgy/MBBS/Life Sciences and Bioinformatics. Candidates should not have more than 30 years age.

For the post Project Assistant (Code-4)

Candidates having passed bachelor degree in any stream will be eligible and should have attain the maximum 28 years age.

Selection Process for IGIB Recruitment 2012

Candidates will be selected by progress during in the interview process. At that time, any photo identity card and all original eligibility certificates will be required for entry purpose. The result of a selection committee will be last in all respect.

Important instructions

The project code/title is HCP0001.The appointment is purely based on contract basis of One year.Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology has reserve the right to draw up waiting list.No TA/DA will be paid to report for the interview.Candidates will have option to use Hindi language in interview.Total numbers of vacancies would be the subject of variation.Candidates are in regular serving should be liable to submit NOC at the time of interview.No emails would be entertained beyond 28th Sept, 2012.Candidates are requested to write correct project format & code.
