SSB was established as Special Service Bureau in May1963, is comes under aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs was also assigned Indo-Bhutan border in March 2004. Latest SSB jobs in 2012 having following criteria which candidates have to fulfill. Those having 12th Class from recognized University/ Institute are eligible to apply.

Head Constable (Ministerial) – 132

Eligibility Conditions:

Max age limit is 18 – 25 years as on 15.11.2012.
Candidates should completed his/her following educational qualification of 10+2 standerd/ Diploma in Secretarial Practice/ Modern Office Practice/ Commercial Practice.

Pay Scale:

Salary for applicant selected by Sashastra Seema Bal will be in the pay scale of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/-.

Application Fee:

No fee has to be paid by SC/ ST candidates.
All Others: Rs.50/-.

Note: fee has to be paid by DD in favor of Accounts Officer, SHQ, SSB Gorakhpur (UP), payable at SBI Gorakhpur.
