Important Dates for BHEL Recruitment 2012

Candidates must remember the following dates for recruitment of Engineers in BHEL for the year 2012 and 2013.

Opening date of publication advertisement on the website is 14th Sept, 2012.Date of online submission applications commences from Jan, 2013.Opening date of online submission of application for GATE-2013 is 1st Sept, 2012.Last date of online submission of application for GATE-2013 is 30th Sept, 2012.

Qualification and Age Limitation

Candidates should have a graduate degree in technology/engineering “or” Dual degree program in technology/engineering “or” Five years integrated master degree/B.E/B.Tech. Age of candidates will be not more than 27 years means candidates who born before 1st Aug, 1986 are not eligible to apply. Relaxation of five years to SC/ST and three years to OBC candidates are applicable.

Mode of Selection for BHEL Recruitment 2012-13

Selection of candidates will be based on GATE-2013 marks (out of 100) in the relevant discipline and performance in the interview. Final selection process will be by assigning a weightage of 75%  out of 100 marks for GATE-2013 and 25% marks to interview.

Mode of Submitting Application Form

Eligible candidates will, firstly apply for Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering-2013 (GATE-2013) through log on to http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2013 because the registration number of GATE-2013 is required to apply in BHEL. Total numbers of vacancies are Eight (8) as the post of PTMO (Specialist & Super Specialist) in the stream of Urology/Neurology/Medicine/Skin/Radiology and Psychiatry in the department of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL) Bhopal.

Minimum Age Limit/Experience and Qualification

Registration of candidates under state medical council “or” medical council of India is also one of the eligibility.

For the post PTMO (Super Specialist)

Candidates should have DM/MCH professional qualification degree and have attained the maximum of sixty five years of age as on 1st Oct, 2012.

For the post of PTMO (Specialist)

Candidates having MS/MD/MDS/DNB with minimum of one year experience “or” PG diploma with three years experience will be eligible.
